Powder River Cowboys Rodeo

Description: 1st Sgt. Tim Metro, of Basin, Wyo., right, and Maj. Terry Jenkins, of Wheatland, Wyo., both assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 300th Field Artillery, 115th Fires Brigade, compete in a battalion roping competition, Feb. 13, at Camp Virginia, Kuwait. The Wyoming Army National Guard Soldiers of the 2-300th are known as Powder River Cowboys, some of whom have ranching and rodeo backgrounds. The 2-300th is deployed to Kuwait, Iraq and Qatar in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Soldiers provide security for bases and convoys. (Photo by 2nd Lt. Christian Venhuizen)
