Description: Illustrated map of British North America and New France, 1712. Note that Georgia Colony was not yet established. The southern colonies were simply called "Carolina". On the far left, there is a reference to "Parts Unknown". The Atlantic Ocean was known as "Western Ocean". The Mississippi River is marked as "Riviere St-Louis".
